The sessionid cookie

If you open a page address with campaign parameters such as utm_source or utm_medium, the site sends those parameters and the page address to Washbot's server. The server creates a session with a sessionid cookie to link the visit to its source.

sessionid: The cookie contains a session identifier. Campaign parameters stay on Washbot's server. The cookie travels over a secure connection, and scripts on the page cannot access it. It expires after fourteen days unless you delete it sooner.

Temporary browser storage

The site uses sessionStorage to remember your scroll position and the page version. This helps with navigation and reloading after an update. The data is cleared when you close the tab.

Changes to this policy

If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, they will not load before any required consent, and we will update this policy before adding them.
