How an automatic touchless car wash works

The car stays in place while the machine moves around it and runs the selected programme. Water and cleaning products wash the car without brushes.

Pressure levels, the number of cleaning products and built-in drying vary by model.

The car enters the bay

The driver brings the car into the bay and stops at the marked position. Three-dimensional sensors detect the car's position and shape before washing begins.

The customer stays in the car throughout the cycle, with no need to get out, handle equipment or move the car between steps.

The drive is in the machine

The structure uses connected beams. The motor and drive are inside the machine, which moves along a guide belt. There is no drive mechanism in the bay floor.

Installation requires a prepared wash bay with connections for power, water and drainage. The requirements depend on the model and equipment.

The cycle uses no brushes

The machine washes the bodywork with water and cleaning products. The nozzles move around the car without touching it.

Wash results depend on the programme, the cleaning products and how dirty the car is.

The programmes depend on the model

All models offer the same number of programmes. Pressure levels, the number of cleaning products, drying and additional features vary by model.

Features for washing the chassis, wheel rims and areas around the mirrors also depend on the model.

Sensors and safeguards

The machine uses three-dimensional sensors to detect the vehicle. It includes double collision protection, self-diagnosis, water level monitoring and electrical leakage protection.

Three-dimensional recognition
The sensors detect the shape of the car and determine how the arm moves around it.
Double collision protection
The system includes double collision protection.
Self-diagnosis
The machine monitors its operation and signals a fault.
Low-water protection
The system monitors the water level and includes low-water protection.
Electrical leakage protection
The machine includes electrical leakage protection.

Manufacturer's data

During commissioning, we train your staff to recognise the machine's messages and respond to an interrupted cycle.

Who looks after the site and machine?

A trained member of staff carries out routine checks and cleaning, monitors cleaning product levels and checks the condition of the bay.

Preventive maintenance follows the manufacturer's schedule.

A Washbot technician handles periodic technical maintenance and repairs.

Next step

Compare the models against the programmes you want to offer. If you already have a site, send us the bay dimensions.
